Ghosts get home start in league

Fakenham Town start their Ridgeons League Division One programme with a home match against Halstead on August 7, followed by a Tuesday, August 10 trip to Gorleston.

Other fixtures that month are: August 14 Stowmarket (h); August 21 Saffron Walden (a); August 24 Downham (h, 7.45pm).

Pre-season games continue tonight (Thursday) home to Mattishall (7.30) and at Aylsham on Saturday (3).

The home Thursday friendly with Dereham ended in a 3-1 defeat for the Ghosts.
