Christmas is officially set to arrive on the north Norfolk coast.
The Wells Christmas Tide Festival will make its return from November 25 to 27, featuring the usual array of exciting events.
Proceedings will get under way on Friday evening with a carol singing concert on the Buttlands from 6.30pm.
On Saturday, there will be plenty of entertainment on offer from 10am, including a number of market stalls in the Wells Health Centre car park, Staithe Street and The Quay.
And, at 4.30pm, the town's Christmas lights will be switched on by ITV Anglia presenter David Whiteley in Staithe Street. This will be followed by the usual lantern parade to the quayside.
Father Christmas himself will arrive by boat at around 5pm, accompanied by a flotilla of illuminated vessels, before a fireworks display over the marshes.
Children can then meet Santa in his grotto at Wells Maltings during the evening and on Sunday.
The famous crab cage Christmas tree is being put up to coincide with the festival.
