New electric vehicle public charging points have been added to a market town pub.

Osprey, one of the UK’s largest electric vehicle (EV) charging networks, has installed two high-powered chargers at The Running Horse pub on Hawthorn Way, Fakenham.

The 75kW rapid charge points are compatible with every EV on the market and can typically add 100 miles of range in 35 minutes.

The chargers are described as easy to use, accepting contactless bank cards, Apple/Google Pay, the Osprey App and RFID card payments as well as payments through all major third-party payment methods including fleet cards.

Ian Johnston, chief executive of Osprey, said: “This new charging hub at Fakenham is a vital part of the re-charging network that will enable the decarbonisation of transport in the UK.”
