A popular market is set to make waves as it expands into north Norfolk, with the first event over the Easter bank holiday weekend.

The Local Makers Market was established in London in 2013 and it now also takes place in Norwich at The Forum and The Shoe Factory Social Club.

It is expanding to a new Norfolk location at Wells Town Football Club along Beach Road, with the first event on Monday, April 1 2024 from 10am to 4pm with free entry.

It will feature 30 high-quality craft stalls, including ceramics, homewares, jewellery, prints, natural skincare and candles.

Rosie Nolan, organiser, said: "There will also be refreshments and we have a fully licensed bar so customers can do some shopping and then grab a pint and sit outside at our seating area and enjoy the views of Wells."

There are two more bank holiday markets scheduled at the venue in 2024, which are on May 6 and August 26 from 10am to 4pm.
