Popular lifestyle guide Muddy Stilettos has revealed what its readers think are the best cafes in Norfolk.

Each year the publications hosts the Muddy Awards, in which the site's 3.8 million readers nominate their favourite local businesses in 28 counties nationwide.

Each business is placed into one of 21 categories and a public vote narrows each category down to the top five in each county.

One of Norfolk's best cafe finalists this year is The Ber Street Kitchen in Norwich.

It seats 30 people inside and in its outdoor courtyard and its menu ranges from breakfasts to burgers and Sunday lunches.

Also shortlisted is Garden Kitchen Courtyard Cafe at the Hoveton Hall estate on the Norfolk Broads. 

It offers several seasonal dishes as well as a drinks menu which people can enjoy out in the picturesque courtyard.

The third of the final five is J.C. Pinto in St John Maddermarket in Norwich.

It is open from Wednesdays to Sundays for breakfasts, brunches and lunches and is in a prime location to attract shoppers.

Also on the list is The Horkey Kitchen which opened late last year in Bawdeswell at the former home of Hamptons at the Barn.

Owners Lily Wade and George Wright serve all-day breakfasts, light lunches and homemade cakes.

Finally, The Orangery Tea Room in Ketteringham, near Wymondham, was recognised in the 2024 ranking.

The Orangery Tea Room is a popular spot for afternoon tea and it is set in the stunning grounds of Ketteringham Hall.

Voting remains open and the regional winner will be announced on May 2.

The regional winners from each category will go through to the prestigious national finals, where the judges will decide who is the "best of the best".

The national winners will be revealed on July 11.
