A great pub is a must in any Norfolk town or village and while many have closed over time there are still some real gems to find and many haven’t changed much at all.
In these pictures from our archives we look back at a few you may have frequented, to enjoy a meal, a drink and a yarn.
The King’s Head and The Bull in Dereham, Crown in Wells and Red Lion in Stiffkey are still much the same.
The Pilgrim’s Rest in Docking is now the Pilgrim’s Reach - does anyone know why the name was changed?
And the Old Brewery House in Reepham is now the Dial House and the Henry IV in Fakenham is now run by Hungry Horse.
How many of these have you visited?
