Severe snow closes more than 50 schools

Schools across Norfolk and Suffolk have been forced to shut this morning after the region has woken up to heavy snowfall.

The temperatures plummeted to -7.7C in some parts of Norfolk and Suffolk overnight as the so called Beast from the East arrived in the East of England.

Schools in Norfolk which have shut so far include:
