The nine-person team raised £735 bag packing at Dereham and Fakenham Tesco stores that they used to buy materials for the project.

The group transformed the empty space into an area for the residents to spend time.

With fresh paint on the shed, 12 wooden sleepers, and 56 paving slabs, the area now has a pond with a path surrounding it. The team also built flower beds, revamped the bird feeders and decorated the area with solar lights to leave it glowing.

The project was part of a 12-week course from the Prince’s Trust team programme, run by Norfolk Fire and Rescue Service (NFRS).
