Drivers urged to take care following oil spill in Fakenham

Norfolk police are warning drivers to take care when driving through Fakenham following a large oil spill.

Units attended the scene of the spill on Greenway Lane at around 12.30pm and one lane of the road was closed.

The spill was cleared by Highways shortly after 1pm but police have warned that drivers should continue to take care as they pass by the area.

The source of the oil spill has not been confirmed.
