Man charged with four Fakenham arson offences

A man has been charged with four arson offences in Fakenham.

Stuart Steele, a 24-year-old from Fakenham of no fixed abode, was also charged with criminal damage, attempted theft and possession of an offensive weapon.

Mr Steele was arrested at around 11.30am on Saturday morning and was remanded in police custody over the weekend before appearing in Norwich Magistrates Court this morning.

Mr Steele has been bailed until April 1.

Inspector Edward Brown said the arrest had followed information received from a member of the public.
