A fire in Fakenham early this morning is suspected to have been started deliberately.

Fire crews were called to Field Lane around 5.52am to a fire in a storage container at what is thought to be the sports ground.

North Norfolk Police said: “This is the second fire in the town this week and early indications suggest it was deliberately started.”

Firefighters used breathing apparatus and extinguished the fire using hose reel jets.
