Great Cressingham Victorian School is to open its doors for free on Sunday September 30, providing a chance to experience what life was like back in the 19th century.

Those attending will be able to look around the school and museum, as well as being able to take part in a school lesson.

The open day will last from 11am to 5pm and includes a chance to make donations to Great Ormond Street Hospital.

The building was built in 1840 and was used as a local authority school until 1992 before being acquired by Tom and Sally North.

The building has now been restored as closely as possible to how it would have been in Victorian times.
