JDT Music Academy is to host a fundraising concert in Swaffham in October to raise money for their Big Build Project.

The academy hopes to build a new community music hub in the centre of Dereham by 2020 and will raise money for the project at the concert on Saturday October 6 at St Peter and St Paul Church in Swaffham.

The event will feature Rockavox, which boasts two groups in Dereham and Swaffham who provide a varied programme of music including well known songs from the 70’s, 80’s, 90’s and today.

The concert will also raise money for The Younique Foundation who seek to support women who were sexually abused as children or adolescents.

Leeway Domestic Violence and Abuse Services, who provide a wide range of community services and safe houses for children and adult victims, will also be supported.

Tickets can be purchased at Bright and Beautiful Flowers or JDT Academy in Dereham or Ceres Bookshop in Swaffham.
