Holiday cottages in Fakenham have been nominated for an award in this year’s British Travel Awards.

Kett Country Cottages is in with a chance of winning in the Best UK Holiday Cottage and Self Catering Booking Company category.

The winners will be chosen by the consumers who have until September 30 to cast their votes on the awards website and the successful companies will be announced at an awards ceremony held in London on November 29.

The site has been in operation for over a decade and recently added a number of new properties this year, surpassing 200 cottages.

Managing director, Simon Barclay, said: “We are really pleased to have been nominated for this award. As a small, local team we strive to offer a first-class experience to all our holidaymakers through a diverse range of Norfolk properties and excellent knowledge of both Norfolk and the cottages themselves.”
