A 22 year old was forced to hand over £5 to a group after he was pushed against a wall in Dereham at the weekend.

He was walking on the High Street towards the town centre between 2.45pm and 3.15pm on Sunday when the attack happened.

A group of three men approached him while he was with two friends.

One group member grabbed the hood of the 22 year old’s coat and another pushed him in the chest against a wall demanding money for a drink.

The victim said two of the group members, who approached him, were drunk during the robbery.

Anyone who witnessed the incident or has knowledge of it should contact Thetford CID on 101 or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
