A group of people are appealing for help to set up a Men’s Shed in Fakenham.

Over the past six months, a group of volunteers in Fakenham have been working to set up a Men’s Shed in the town.

Now, they are appealing for a space in which to base the shed.

Men’s Shed’s are places where men -and in the case of the Fakenham project women too- can meet to share practical skills, ideas or simply drop in for a chat.

They provide spaces to help improve wellbeing and where items can be made, repaired or renovated.

The Fakenham group is appealing for anyone who owns a building or knows of a premises with space for up to 12 people, with electricity and running water, to get in touch.

The next Men’s Shed Fakenham meeting will take place on Monday, October 8, from 10am in The Gallow, Fakenham.

For more information about the Men’s Shed contact Stephen via 07748335041 or email c.bottjer@tiscali.co.uk.
