Norfolk has woken up to frosty and icy roads this morning.

Insp Lou Provart, from Norfolk Police, said on Twitter: “Please take care on #NorfolkRoads - lots of #ICE this morning which is causing hazardous driving conditions. Drive to the conditions and #DriveToArrive.”

There is no official Met Office weather warning for ice but many roads and pavements are covered with frost this morning.

There are reports of freezing fog.

Temperatures are below freezing across the county including -4C in Marham.
