New team vicar for Dereham ministry

Rt Rev Graham James, Bishop of Norwich, welcomed a large congregation to All Saints Church in Swanton Morley for the licensing of the Rev James Rosie as Team Vicar of the Dereham and District Team Ministry.

Mr Rosie has come from his ministry in Cheadle with Freehay, Staffordshire, to join the Team, and will reside at the Swanton Morley Vicarage.

He will have particular responsibility for the parishes of Swanton Morley, Hoe, Beetley and East Bilney.

He was supported at this service by his family, friends and members of his previous congregations.

Members of other denominations and local dignitaries, the Ven John Ashe, Archdeacon of Lynn, Rev Canon Sally Theakston, Team Rector plus clergy and readers all contributed to the service, which was followed by refreshments.
