Pensioner left in hospital after being knocked over by mobility scooter in Fakenham

A pensioner was taken to hospital after being knocked over by a mobility scooter in Fakenham.

The East of England Ambulance Service received a call at 1.08pm on Tuesday to Millers Walk in Fakenham.

An ambulance crew and rapid response vehicle attended. They treated a woman, believed to be in her 80s, who had suffered back, hip and leg injuries.

She was given pain relief and taken to Queen Elizabeth Hospital for further care.

Her injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
