Documentary photographer Alexandra Bone recently captured a stunning set of Norfolk storm photographs.

Here is what she had to say about the series of photos: “These photos are of two different storms on Sunday 5th August. The first one came across the Wymondham area at about 2pm, and I followed the other storm from there, across to Reepham from 7.30pm.

“I tracked the storms during the day using various internet weather tools, and then went out chasing them in the car when they were close enough.

“I love watching nature at work in this way - every storm is different and you get some stunning cloud formations, as well as incredible lightning bolts.

“I took the photos you see here on a combination of my Canon 30D and 5DMkII cameras. The night time shots were taken near Reepham, from my car dashboard using a 6 second exposure. The camera was handheld so I’m pleased they came out so well.”
