Hempton Road in Fakenham has reopened following a crash involving two cars.

Police closed off the road near the Wensum Lodge on Bridge Street for around two hours on Tuesday evening.

A spokesman said two cars were involved in an accident, with one occupant suffering minor injuries.

In a Twitter post, posted around 7.30pm, North Norfolk Police advised drivers to use alternative routes.

The force said: “Hempton Rd area of #Fakenham closed due to RTC - Please use alternative routes.”
