Norfolk police are appealing for witnesses after a Volkswagen Golf was spotted being driven at speed.

Police are appealing for witnesses after a car was driven at more than 100mph on the A1065 in Fakenham last night.
The blue Volkswagen Golf was seen near Morrisons supermarket on Clipbush Lane at 7.30pm.
Witnesses should contact Fakeham police station on 101.

That magical figure again, frequently used but rarely factual. How do the Police know the vehicle was doing over 100mph ? Has a member of the public got hold of a speed gun, or, as suspected when asked, they guess and quote over 100mph.
