A number of traffic accidents have taken place across north Norfolk this weekend.

Today, Sunday May 20, crews from the Norfolk Fire and Rescue Service were called at around 3am to Great Ryburgh, near Fakenham.

Appliances from Fakenham and Reepham went to Fakenham Road where there had been an accident.

The crews made the scene and vehicles safe and also assisted Norfolk police.

Later, appliances from Holt and Sheringham were called to another accident on the A149 near Cley, at about 6.30am.

Hydraulic equipment was used to rescue a person from the vehicle.

Police closed the stretch of road between Salthouse and Cley following the accident. The road reopened at around 8.40am.

At 12.38pm, crews from Mundesley and North Walsham were called to an accident on Mundesley Road, Knapton.

Ladders and small gear was used to help free two people, who were later treated by the ambulance service.
