Woman assaulted on Dereham cycle path

A woman was grabbed from behind by a man while she walked along a Dereham cycle path.

The attack happened at around 11.50am on Tuesday (June 19) along the track on Greens Road while the victim, who is in her 30s, walked towards the industrial estate.

She walked past a man who was standing still on the cycle path and as she went past he grabbed hold of her.

The woman, who was shaken but unhurt, kicked out and ran towards the estate.

Inquiries are ongoing to find the attacker.
