Big away win for Dereham Taverners

The Barnes Print Central & South Norfolk League programme was dominated by the opening matches in the three league cup competitions.

In Group A of the Co-Dunkall Junior League Cup, Dereham Taverners won 6-2 at Attleborough A while Shipdham beat Morley Village 5-3.

The two matches in Group B ended as draws. Hethersett Athletic and Longham scored one apiece while Mulbarton A and Rockland United shared four goals.

In Group A of the Woodbridge Engineering Primary League Cup, Mundford Exiles won 6-3 at Rockland Reserves while Tacolneston Reserves beat Bridgham 4-2. In Group B, Briston ran out 4-1 home winners over Castle Acre Reserves while Dereham Taverners Reserves and Dussindale Reserves drew 1-1. Norwich Medics head Group C after their 5-4 home win over Yaxham while Brandon Reserves and Hockering drew 3-3.
