Bradenham Wanderers up to fourth after hard-fought away victory

Bradenham Wanderers got back to winning ways in the Premier Division of the Anglian Combination with a hard-fought away victory on Saturday.

They won 3-2 at St Andrews and are now fourth in the table with 15 points from their opening nine games, a decent return for a side new to the top flight.

Ryan Pye and Andrius Bonkas scored for the home side but strikes from Tom Spalding, George Watts-Sturrock and Joel Bryan saw Bradenham leave with the victory. Next up is a home game against Reepham Town on Saturday (2pm).

Wells Town suffered a painful 7-1 defeat at East Harling in Division Two. They had drawn their midweek home game against Sprowston Athletic 2-2, with Ross Brewster and Aaron Myhill geting the goals.

The Seasiders welcome Martham to Beach Road on Saturday.

It was a tough day for Wells Town Reserves, who suffered an 11-0 home defeat at the hands of Division Five North leaders Castle Acre Swifts.
