Steve Smith took over the reins as club captain by driving in together with junior captain Will Buck, ladies’ captain Jan Cotton and seniors’ captain Glen Robertson. 
Results: 1 Michael Cotton, Peter Foreman, Angela Foreman, Mark Fletcher 58 net; 2 Brynn Playford, Terry Hegarty, Andrew Kirk, Kevin Webb 60; 3 Dennis Rowell, Graham Wild, Bernie McKeon, Colin Holmes 61.
The guess the drive-in combined length competition of 595 yards was jointly forecast by Paul Chilvers and Mark Fletcher.
