Fakenham Table Tennis League to stage exhibition match

Fakenham Table Tennis League are holding an exhibition match on Thursday, March 1 at Fakenham Community Centre at 7pm, featuring Stephen Gertsen and Neil Charles.

Gertsen has represented Wales at the World Championships and Commonwealth Games in 2010, two European Championships, and is a former Wales and British Under-18 winner. He is currently the ETTA Eastern Regional Coach and former Wales Women’s Coach.

Charles is currently ranked 27 in England and No 2 in the Veterans, and has represented Middlesex more than 100 times. He has won under-21 national doubles and European veterans doubles titles, and is the reigning Norwich League Men’s and Veterans singles winner.

There will be exhibition games and demonstration matches with local league players.

Tickets, costing £3, are available from Sweets ‘n’ Things, Oak Street, Fakenham.
