Division Two FANG went nap three times over thanks to three hat-’Rix’ during a 15-0 demolition of re-formed Terrington Reserves on Sunday.

Tommy Rix bagged a treble while his brothers Michael and James also netted on the first day of the season. Joseph Malby (3), James Buhlemann, (3), Sam Hewitt (2), Barron Glen and Olly Parker also scored.

Maltings beat another new side, Maids Head, 6-2 with King’s Lynn Town Reserve team keeper Jack Johnson scoring twice in his Sunday-morning striker’s role. Corey Brady, Sam Johnson, Daniel Clark and Mark Vice completed the scoring.

Two more new sides met on the opening day as Adrian Flux took on Elm FC with the insurance giants running out comfortable 8-2 victors. Jon Howlett helped himself to a seven-minute hat-trick before adding a fourth to his tally. Peter Sanctuary (2), Jak Hindley and Ashley Watson also chipped in with goals. Elm’s Jermaine Watson scored twice.

William Burt beat Fowler 6-0 in a tempestuous affair. Stevie Fisher (2), Chris Edgar (2), and Robert Framingham netted.

An own goal and two red cards completed Fowler’s misery.

In Division One, Terrington beat White Bell 3-1 thanks to goals from Dean Twaite-Smith, Matty Prudence and Neil Goodbourn. Colin Coulson netted a late consolation for visiting Bell.

Newly-promoted Chilvers edged out new boys Wisbech CP8 3-2 at home thanks to goals from Ben Oliver, Tommy Anderson and Paul Moore. Aaron Hurrell netted twice for CP8.

Kevin Leggett’s brace and a goal from Lee Clarke helped Pott Row Old Boys come from 3-1 down to draw with Englands Hope. Paul Richardson, Luke Jackson and Joe Uddin scored for the visitors.

Elsewhere, Lynn Napier drew 1-1 at March Saracens. Napier’s goal came from Brian King, Saracens’ through Dane Moore.
