In the Kata event final, the standard was very high, but the winner was Tim Rayner with Finn Nelson a close second.

In the fighting (Kumite) competition, the winner was Edie McQuiston with Olivia Cunningham second. The boys final was between Lloyd Briggs and Danny Williamson with Danny winning by one point.

Club instructors Graham Buckley and John Phelps have received an award for senior students of the year, awarded by Kazoku-Kai international Karate association.
