Acle Indoor Bowls Club, who have just completed their season, are accepting domestic league entries for the 2017/18 season until May 1.

The club have had their best ever season, with the men winning the county first and second divisions and the ladies winning the county second division.

The men’s C team also won promotion to the second division while the club won the Norfolk Top Club League.

The club had representatives at the National Championships in no less than 14 disciplines — a national record.

Two of the up-and-coming youngsters from the club have also won through to the national finals of the English Youth Development Scheme to be played at Melton Mowbray next October. They are Tia Linford in the U14s and Ryan Garman in the U16s categories.
