Musical maestro Duncan Walsh Atkins and Comedian Tim FitzHigham provide a charming homage to two of the greats in musical comedy.

Norfolk born Tim gives an energetic and charming portrayal of the spirit of two men who entertained Britain for decades.

These two artists bring the show well and truly to life with an infectious joy that leaves you admiring their heroes as much as they obviously do.

The wit and wisdom that Flanders and Swann manage to sneak past you when you think you are laughing at an animal, manages to remain as relevant today as it has ever been. The only thing missing was any audience members with an Instagram account.

Any articulate teen would find a far wittier level of humour than they are so frequently exposed to.

So take your older children for an evening where they can discover songs that you thought you’d forgotten, before you drive off singing “Mud, Mud, Glorious Mud….”

Flanders and Swann return to Norfolk on July 28 at the Norwich Playhouse, and they are well worth the evening.
