Drivers in Fakenham were warned to observe parking restrictions or face a fine as police clamp down on rogue road-users.
Officers from the town's Safer Neighbourhood Team (SNT) made the warning after issuing two fixed penalty notices to vehicles parked in a pedestrian zone.
Proactive enforcement is also being carried out by a traffic warden throughout the week in a bid to encourage responsible parking.
PCSO Jo Robotham said: “Drivers leaving their vehicles in pedestrian zones and on double yellow lines cause unnecessary obstruction to pedestrians as well as other road users.
“Officers from Fakenham SNT will be enforcing parking regulations and drivers who break the rules can expect fixed penalty tickets to be issued.”
