Friday, Saturday and Sunday - Binham is holding a Community Archeological event, from 9am to 4.30pm. Binham village hall. Anyone interested is welcome to come along and help dig, sift, wash items of interest and identify. Children over seven welcome if accompanied by an adult. Saturday - Kettlestone Village Hall Jumble Sale, 10am-noon, Sale of clothing and bric-a-brac, Free

Saturday - Fakenham and District Horticultural Association 95th Annual Rose Show. Hempton Memorial Hall, from noon to 3.30pm. 58 classes of flowers, vegetables, crafts, photos, flower arrangements and domestic produce. Saturday, Brisley Primary School Summer Fete, 2-6pm, A traditional summer fete to raise money for the school. There will be traditional stalls and games, beer tent and BBQ, bouncy castle, face painting, balloon modelling, dance workshops, dance performances, RNLI, teas, coffees and cakes and (hopefully!) a fire engine, Free

Saturday - Jazz on Wiveton Green and classic cars, Bring your friends and family to listen to Junction Jazz play on the green outside Wiveton Church while enjoying strawberries and cream and a Wiveton sling drink. 4-6pm. This popular yearly event will also have a selection of Classic cars on display. All proceeds to the Wiveton Church Restoration Fund. Free - Donations invited for church restoration

Sunday - Scarning community yard sale. 9am to 12pm, maps showing the participating addresses available for £1 from Scarning school, where there will also be stalls. Refreshments available. Stalls/yard £5 in advance payable at the school and all money raised will go to Scarning School Fundraisers and Scarning Pre-School. Sunday - Elsing Hall Open gardens, from 11-4pm, to raise funds for the restoration of St Mary's Church. The garden has been featured in various publications such as Country Life, The English Garden and EDP Norfolk and is renowned for its hundreds of varieties of roses. Cakes and teas and there will also be plant and book stalls.Price: £5 (children under 12 free)

Sunday -13 gardens are opening to the public in Wells in aid of St Nicholas Church, from 1.30pm to 6pm. There are all types of gardens to visit, large & small, with a plant sale, teas served at one of the gardens & at the church, a raffle and an art studio.

Admission is by ticket purchased at the first garden you visit & includes a map of where all the gardens are to be found - look out for the Red Balloons! Price: £6 per person to cover all gardens.

Sunday - Hardingham Fete at the Memorial Hall. 1.30pm to 4.30pm. Featuring the Taverham Band, circus acts, children's races, prizes and raffle. Lots of refreshments, stalls and games. Mid Norfolk Railway trains will stop at Hardingham and a vintage coach will provide free onward transfers to the fete on a shuttle basis subject to availability. Proceeds to Hardingham Parish Church and Hardingham Memorial Hall.
