Acle Utd Res 1, Foulsham 1
Looking to extend their 100pc record in Anglian Combination Division Two, Foulsham travelled to Acle United Reserves on Saturday and came away with a fortunate 1-1 draw.
After a very even and goal-less first half where chances at both ends were at a premium, Acle took the lead when Foulsham keeper Mark Bidewell mishandled a long range shot and Daniel Barnes swept the rebound into the net.
Foulsham managed a few attacks and from a corner by Craig Hagon, central defender Lewis Tillbrook rose above the defenders for the equaliser. A poor second half performance by Foulsham which they will need to address this weekend when they travel to free-scoring Sprowston Athletic, also unbeaten in the league.
