A woman in her 30s was arrested on suspicion of drink driving following a crash near Fakenham. 

Police were called to a single-vehicle collision on the A1067 in Pensthorpe at 10.45am on Monday, November 7.

Emergency services including paramedics and fire crews from Fakenham and Dereham were called to the incident. 

The scene was made safe and the vehicle occupant was released using hydraulic rescue equipment.

A woman in her 30s was arrested at the scene on suspicion of drink driving and she was taken to hospital for treatment for her injuries. 

Norwich Road was closed at the junction with the A1067 while investigations were carried out and later reopened.
