A nature reserve is hoping to become the latest foodie destination in Norfolk after refreshing and modernising its cafe.
Pensthorpe Natural Park, near Fakenham, has redesigned its cafe to invite the "nature outside inside", with a focus on soft lighting and an abundance of plants to create a rustic feel.
This coupled with its new menu is putting the nature reserve on the foodie destination map, with gourmet dishes and afternoon teas on offer.

General manager Ben Marshall said: "We've been planning the overhaul since the beginning of the year.
"We focused on bringing in the natural environment and we wanted to brighten up the cafe.

"After being here for 20 years we want to keep evolving and changing and we want to stand on our own two feet as a foodie destination".
New dishes include a "posh fish finger sandwich" with cod on an open toasted bloomer, pea shoots and a pea puree base.
The cafe is open to the public from 9am until 5pm and access is available without paying entry to the reserve.
