The owner of a family food business said he had been "blown away" by the response after moving one of his mobile diners.
Stewart Hodgson, founder of Big G’s Diner, has moved one of his two units from Norwich to the Greens Road Industrial Estate in Dereham.
The diner is now located next to Travis Perkins on the site.
Mr Hodgson said the Norwich location was "not working out".
He said: "With the competition from the food outlets around us like McDonald's, Subway, and KFC to name a few, we had no choice but to hand in our notice."
Mr Hodgson, 47, said business had been strong so far at the new location.
He said: "The reaction from the people of Dereham has been overwhelmingly positive and so powerful.
"We can't thank them enough for such a warm welcome."
The business first opened in Fakenham in March 2022, based at the B&Q car park on Enterprise Way.
The food on offer ranges from freshly cooked burgers to jacket potatoes.
Big G's also serves up daily specials ranging from chicken naan, roast pork and crackling, barbecue pork loin, doner, chicken wraps and dirty fries.
Customers can also buy a frappe or smoothie to wash the food down with.
Mr Hodgson said he named the business in honour of his late father Graham, who was known as ‘Big G’, and had a car wash business with the same name.
He said they would look to open a third venue once the Dereham location was more established.
Big G's Diner opens Monday to Saturday, from 7.30am until 2.30pm.
