Hundreds of pounds in cash has been stolen from a Norfolk church.
Police were called to St Nicholas Church in Wells-next-the-Sea at 10.34am on Sunday, October 15 following reports of a burglary.
The incident happened between 6pm on Saturday and 10am on Sunday when a number of items were taken including approximately £200 in cash.
Situated in Church Plain, the building dates back to the 13th century and is grade II listed.
Restoration of the church tower has just begun following a donation from the National Lottery Heritage Fund.

Rev Brenda Stewart of St Nicholas Church said: "It was obviously a planned operation and they accessed through the back kitchen door, breaking into the vestry and safe.
"They knew what they were doing as they brought all the equipment they needed."
No damage was done to the main body of the church building but silver from the altar and home communion sets were among the items reported stolen.
Police enquiries are ongoing.
