Paul Hendry-Smith, TLAC's managing director said: “The process started two years ago, I've known Shark for 10 years and what they were planning to do, to develop this aircraft to be the fastest and slickest in its class.

“With our previous success in the aviation industry, Shark said they wanted TLAC to manage its sales.

"It is a stunning aircraft, which I have no doubt will clear its final testing."

Record breaker.

The Shark Aero was used by Zara and Mack Rutherford who circumnavigated the globe as the youngest woman and man in history in January 2022 - the youngest in history to do it both solo.

They flew 106,000 km or 57,000 nm via 43 countries and five continents in all climates and temperatures ranging from -35°C to +48°C. For the longest flight Shark with Mack on board took off from Kushiro, Japan and landed 10 hours later with no stopover nor refuelling in Casco Cove, USA while achieving also the longest flight over the water.
