For most of us, Christmas is still less than 50 days away - but in Norfolk's festival capital, it is about to start.
The curtain will rise on the 46th Thursford Christmas Spectacular on Wednesday, November 8.
An array of musical performances from Lakmé to festive favourites will be performed. There are also all-cast performances from Mary Poppins and musical numbers We Go Together and Consider Yourself (Image: Thursford)The event which has attracted almost six million visitors to date, is a three-hour extravaganza of singing, dancing, comedy, and festive fun with the steam museum transformed into a winter wonderland for the event.
Dress rehearsals took place last weekend, revealing a first look at 2023's offering, featuring one of the largest casts on stage, with singers, dancers, speciality acts and a live orchestra.

"With an amazing, talented cast of over 120, a new line-up of speciality acts and a brilliant compere comedian, we couldn’t be more excited for this year’s production. Our sound system has also been upgraded, rivalling some of the best shows on the West End, making this our most immersive show yet.”

The compere and comedian has been confirmed as Lloyd Hollett – The Comedy Wordsmith, who will bring his more than 30 years of experience to the stage.
