A pub in Norfolk has been named among the best unspoilt pubs in Britain.

The Three Horseshoes in Warham, near Wells-next-The-Sea, has been named by The Good Pub Guide as the "cream of the crop" of unspoilt pubs.

The pub dates back to 1725 and has a long history evident in the traditional serving hatch, pamment-tiled floors and many authentic features.

The Good Pub Guide said: "With gaslit bar rooms that have panelling and painted roughcast walls hung with china plates and royalist photographs, this old-fashioned flint and brick pub has plenty of charm.

"Adnams Ghost Ship, Woodfordes Wherry and a guest on handpump and 20 wines by the glass served through a hatch by friendly staff."

The Three Horseshoes recently refurbished the accommodation above the pub, and in the grade II listed Old Post Cottage next door, to create six en-suite double bedrooms alongside four Oak Lodges in the walled garden.
