Great Dunham Primary School students and staff took part in a sponsored Rudolph Run.

The effort consisted of students running, walking, and even skipping, despite the chill of the last day of term.

A total of £393.98 was raised and will be donated to The Norfolk Hospice, an organisation providing care for individuals nearing the end of their lives, as well as offering support to their families and friends.

This marks the second year the small village school participated in the fundraiser.

Mr Wingate, the class teacher and organiser of the run, said: "It was so lovely to see everyone come together and have an enjoyable time in the bitter cold to raise money for a fantastic cause."

One pupil said: "I had loads of fun.

"I ran out of breath quite early on but when we finished I felt really happy and everyone else was smiley too.

"I was very proud of myself and all my friends in school too."
