Six Norfolk restaurants have maintained their impressive accolades at The Michelin Guide Great Britain and Ireland 2024 awards ceremony.

This year’s full Michelin guide was announced this evening at the Midland Hotel in Manchester.

One Michelin star is awarded to restaurants that "use top quality ingredients, where dishes with distinct flavours are prepared to a consistently high standard".

Going into the evening, four Norfolk restaurants already held one star and each maintained the prestigious accolade as the ceremony drew to a close.

The four restaurants in Norfolk with a Michelin star are Store in Stoke Holy Cross, Meadowsweet in Holt, Morston Hall and The Neptune in Old Hunstanton. 

Bib Gourmand winners were also announced during the event, which is a prize awarded to "friendly establishments that serve food at moderate prices”.

Sculthorpe Mill in Fakenham and The Gunton Arms in Thorpe Market maintained their Bib Gourmands.

Siobhan Peyton, co-owner of Sculthorpe Mill, said: “Having only been open for three years, we are humbled and delighted to have achieved a hat-trick of Michelin Bib Gourmands.

"We are thrilled to be named alongside our friends at The Gunton Arms." 

No new Norfolk restaurants feature in the Michelin Guide for 2024.
