A Norfolk attraction has been named one of the UK's best gardens to visit in early spring.
Pensthorpe in Fakenham was included in The Guardian's ranking of the top 12 gardens to visit as the days start to get longer and brighter.
The site is a 700-acre nature reserve that is home to a diverse range of wildlife including a flamboyance of resident flamingos.
The Guardian recommends Pensthorpe because of its range of beautiful gardens such as The Millenium Garden designed by Piet Oudolf in 1999.

The Corten Infinity Garden displays exotic banana palms and The Wave Garden, designed by Chelsea Flower Show winner Julie Toll, features lake views and undulating yew hedges.
Pensthorpe is open daily and has an on-site cafe that is open to the public.
Nature lovers can also hire the site for weddings and other private events.
Other national beauty spots featured in the list include Eltham Palace in London, Attadale Gardens in Wester Ross, Winterbourne Palace in Birmingham and the Lost Gardens of Heligan in Cornwall.
