A trio of independent businesses in Norfolk have been announced as finalists in The Farm Shop & Deli Retailer Awards 2024. 

The categories range from bakers and cheesemongers to delis and food halls and it is free to enter. 

The winners will be announced on Monday, April 29 2024 at the Farm Shop & Deli Show at the NEC in Birmingham.

Church Farm Shop in Hethersett is a finalist in the small farm shop category, for places where the annual turnover is £600,000 or under.

It was previously named Norfolk's best farm shop or deli at the public-voted Muddy Stilettos Awards 2023.

Elsewhere, The Norfolk Deli in Hunstanton is a finalist in the delicatessen category and owner Mark Kacary is also behind the new West Norfolk Food and Drink Festival in the town.

Finally, Willow Tree Delicatessen at Wroxham Barns is up for the top newcomer prize for businesses that opened after January 1, 2022.

Owner Martin Dupée stocks lots of local produce such as Intwood Farm meats, frozen pizza from Brick and wines from Burn Valley Vineyard.
