Driver injured in crash on busy road

The A148 has been reopened after a crash near Fakenham.

Norfolk police were called at about 1.35pm today (Tuesday May 8) to reports that a car had come off the road into a hedge close to Sculthorpe Airfield.

The driver is believed to have sustained minor injuries.

Officers closed off the A148 while awaiting recovery. They reopened the road about 2.30pm.

The East of England Ambulance Service and Norfolk Fire and Rescue Service also attended.
