Two people in their 80s had to be treated for shock following a crash on a busy north Norfolk road.
The East of England Ambulance Service Trust were called at about 1.35pm on Tuesday, May 8, to reports of a car in a ditch close to Sculthorpe Airfield, near Fakenham.
Two ambulances and a rapid response unit were dispatched to the A148 where a man and a woman, both in their 80s, were treated.
Both had suffered from shock.
The man also had a cut to his chest.
Both patients were taken to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, in King’s Lynn, for further care.
Norfolk Police closed the road in both direction while awaiting recovery. It was reopened again at about 2.30pm.
Two appliances from Norfolk Fire and Rescue Service also attended and crews made the scene safe.
