Appeal for witnesses after collision leaves man in critical condition

Police are appealing for witnesses after a road collision in Harpley left a man with serious head injuries.

The collision between a Ford Fiesta and a Honda quadbike occurred on Shipgate Road, near the A148, at around 1.50pm on Tuesday.

The rider of the quad bike sustained serious head injuries and was taken to Addenbrookes Hospital in Cambridge where he is in critical but stable condition.

Anyone who may have witnessed the collision, or the manner of driving of either vehicle prior to the incident, should contact PC Tom Smith at Swaffham Roads Policing on 101.
