Town centre businesses have been told resurfacing works will take place on or soon after Sunday, March 29.
Norfolk County Council said the road would be closed to all traffic but access to properties in Bridge Street would be maintained.
Access to the car park will be restricted and a diversion wilkl be in operation via Olivet Way, White Horse Street, Queen’s Road, Highfield Road and Oak Street.
